Fotolocals does not sell photographs: it sells licences to use photographs. Each photograph can be bought in two independent versions: the web download, a clean file up to 2048 px on the long side, made for screens, and the high-resolution original, for print. Buying one takes nothing off the other.

There are also the patronage plans: Unita, a monthly subscription that gives 18 web downloads a month, accumulating up to 54, and Fortior, a bespoke commission agreed in person. The details of each plan are on the patrons page.

The price of each photograph is the one shown on its page, Andorran indirect general tax (IGI) included. Payment is made by card through Redsys’ secure terminal, and the purchase is confirmed once the bank authorises it. Every payment produces a simplified invoice, which you receive by email and which stays in your account if you have one.

Once the payment is confirmed, you receive an email with the download link, valid for 7 days. If you buy with your account, the download is saved under “My downloads” and you can repeat it whenever you like. You do not need an account to buy.

Each photograph bought and each subscription is for one project or client only. If you are a designer, an agency, a studio or work for third parties, you need one photo or licence per client. What each licence allows and does not allow is explained in the Licences, which form part of these terms.

The Unita subscription renews every month on the card you signed up with. You can stop it renewing at any time from your account: you remain a member until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your accumulated downloads can be used until that day. Periods already started are not refunded.

Licences are digital content delivered immediately. By confirming the purchase you agree that delivery begins straight away and, therefore, that once the download has started the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If the file you receive is faulty or does not match what you bought, write to us at contacta@fotolocals.com and we will replace it or refund you.

Licences are not exclusive: the same photograph can be licensed to several people. If you want one exclusively, you can ask for it from its page: it is a separate agreement, quoted individually, that takes it out of the catalogue. Licences sold before remain valid.
